Is fruit a healthy snack?
Well, guys if you find the want and desire to snack several times a day your main meal is not packed with the right sort of stuff nor are they big enough.
So, what we want to do is get our main meals right first.
The first thing that we can do guys is to avoid carbs for breakfast.
This is going to do a few things like shoot our blood sugars up which come crashing down later which will make us snack. So, by having a high fat high protein breakfast with a few veggies in there as well it’s going to help slow down our digestive system and as a result, we’re not going to feel so snack.
Then we want to pack our other meals out with things generally avoiding a whole lot of carbs guys with our meals unless they’re pre-or post training. This will help our blood sugar to be more stable and will reduce the want to snack.
The last thing I want to talk about is fruit and realistically guys if you’re training for health or you’re training for body composition fruit has a different role to play.
If you want to get healthier yes, fruit is going to have an important role to play.
If you want to get lean and get toned then, unfortunately, fruit is not ideal.
Fruit while it’s good and it’s healthy it is loaded with fructose which is sugar and that is going to hamper our results especially if we’re training for fat loss.
