Focused on improving mobility
Results Fitness training sessions include specific mobility drills to improve the range of motion in our client’s joints. We are born with a huge amount of mobility and lose it over time due to lack of use, overly tight muscles or sedentary lifestyles. Regular doses of mobility drills keep us moving well and injury-free. Mobility drills are entirely different to warmups before exercise. Warm-ups get you warm; mobility drills help prevent injuries and improve your mobility.
Focused on injury prevention
While you may think your primary goal is to lose fat, gain strength or build muscle; in reality, they are secondary goals. Your primary goal is to stay injury-free while achieving your secondary goals. You won’t get far on your fat loss journey if you injure yourself in your first week of training. Injuries are becoming more common, particularly in commercial gyms where “weight training” classes are being led like dance classes and personal trainers can’t give everyone the attention they need to maintain proper form and technique. At Results Fitness, our training programs focus on injury prehabilitation to prevent injuries before they happen, instead of waiting for them to happen. We assign you to your own coach who gets to know you on a personal level to modify your training to any muscular imbalances or weaknesses you may have or to work within the guidelines of your physiotherapist.

The difference in what we offer is that our small group training involves coaching, whereas large classes in big gyms involve cheerleading. Strength is a skill that requires practice. Test week ensures clients are challenging themselves on an individual level every training session because they are trying to beat their own previous performance. An extra rep, more weight, less rest between sets or a faster time. Test week forms the foundation of a precise training system, which is never found in commercial gyms.

I have never met a client who remembered the exact details of their training session from the previous week. The weight they lifted, the repetitions they completed and the rest they needed between sets. These details are easily forgotten, which is why we track all our client’s training sessions to ensure they’re on track and taking steps towards their goals every single week.
We keep it fresh, fun and effective
Nobody likes to do the same training routine over and over again. It’s boring and ineffective. Doing entirely different and random routines is also not optimal for results, especially when you’re not tracking your progress during training sessions. At Results Fitness, we strike the balance between results and variety by switching up your training program every 4 weeks to keep your training interesting, fun and effective. We include a combination of strength training so you can increase your muscle tone and maximise the fat-burning effect to lose cm’s around your waist and finishing with just the right amount of conditioning to work up a sweat and get the endorphins racing.
